Social Inequality
I guess when you re talking about social inequality there are many different aspects one can explore. It would be nice if we could wake up one day and it could be stopped. But life isn't that easy. There really isn't one answer to solving this problem. Division of resources and color has put the most emphasis on life around us. Why is it that based on your geographical location determines your future?
In some instances your chances of getting ahead is determined by your opportunities in education. One would say that certain class of people were set up to fail. How could you get ahead if all the odds are against you. How could you become successful if knowledge is measured through IQ test? How could you have a high IQ score if you are not provided with the resources you need to get the knowledge you need to acquire higher IQ score? With whom are you competitive? How can you get those resources living in communities that are considered low income and the materials given to you is based off of taxes paid in your community but the community lacks the funds it takes to make a substantial contribution to add resources to the community.
It is truly sad that low income people live off of hopes and dreams of a better life. While middle class people dream of getting closer to a better life and the rich try to find ways to get richer. There is something quite wrong with the realities that are faced by different groups of people just off of the deprivation of getting proper education. The social divide that we witness day in and day out is just a cycle of life that will continue to go on and on because as long as resources are not distributed fairly nothing will be equal and the opportunities will still go where the money is and poverty will still exist because you cant get ahead if your left behind.
