Juvenile Justice
When we talk about juvenile justice there are many angles we can look at. Is the legal system fair to minors and/or minorities, i truly have to say hell no. I feel as though the justice system that is supposed to be used as a platform for rehabilitation is just breeding grounds for delinquents with the same deviant ways to meet and become more deviant. I think that it is sad that when you go through African American communities that you see the lack of guidance that is causing the criminal justice system to act as parents and discipline someones child because their parent had to work in order to pay bills and now their child done feel in the traps of being a product of the negative atmosphere and learns how to appreciate fast money over a working dollar.
I see why sociologist study these different ethnic groups because their is a lot of knowledge that one can obtain by simply looking at the struggles,They affect Juveniles but also the African American community they are so many varieties that fall with this category all are unique and tell unique stories. maybe if we can find the underlining problem we can help some of these juveniles before there 18 and refocused them, Then and only then can rehabilitation occur.

I agree I feel like we are sending these children to a place where they are leaning more negative things. The justice system is not helping our youth its hindering them.
